Fresh Rosé Sangria with Mint Simple Syrup, With a Twist!

An amazing fresh Rosé Sangria with Mint Simple Syrup (+ a non-alcoholic version for kids!) recipe, but with a glittery & shimmering twist! The perfect summer drink!

With the kids at home all summer, playing outside, eating snacks nonstop, and getting super filthy, we thought it would be fun to create a fun summer drink using some of our favorite seasonal fruit. That led us to sangria! Sangria can be delicious all times of the year, but we were craving something light and refreshing in this heat and a light rosé with fruit and a splash of fresh mint sounded just right.

We didn’t want to leave the kids out, so we made them a non-alcoholic version that they loved. Of course, we had to throw some Rose Gold Brew Glitter in to make it fun, and the kids were pretty excited about having sparkles in their drinks!

We love that Brew Glitter isn’t just for bachelorette parties or green beer on St. Patrick’s Day! FDA approved, a little pinch in a kid’s glass as a special treat or at a party can amp up anything you serve them! On warm summer nights, a special, kid-friendly “sangria” is a fun treat for them to sip between covering the sidewalk with chalk and riding their bicycles. The best part is, the parents can enjoy a grown-up version, because we all know that our kids drive us crazy during the summer!

Fresh Rosé Sangria with Mint Simple Syrup (for the grownups!)

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

1 bottle of your favorite rosé
1 can Peach-Pear La Croix, chilled
2 medium peaches, thinly sliced (we left the skin on)
1-pint strawberries, chopped
½ cup Mint simple syrup (or more to taste, we like it less sweet)- recipe below
½ teaspoon Rose Gold Brew Glitter
Fresh mint leaves for garnish

To make

Combine peaches, strawberries, and rosé in a large pitcher, and chill a minimum of 3 hours, but make ahead no more than 24 hours (or fruit will start to go bad).
When ready to serve, pour in 1 can of La Croix, the simple syrup, and Brew Glitter. Taste and add more simple syrup if desired. Stir, pour, and garnish with mint and more strawberries. Enjoy chilled and watch it shimmer!
