All of our edible food-grade flavored glitters contain mica powder that go through a specific manufacturing process allowing the mineral to be edible & consumable. Flavored tinker dust can be used on any edible product your heart desires though we like it best on fresh fruit, deserts, and candy. You can even use it to slightly flavor your drinks.

The shelf life of Flavored Tinker Dust is 3 years.  

The ingredients in our flavored tinker dust are water soluble except the mica pearlescent which is the glitter particle that will stay suspended in liquid and settle to the bottom of the liquid.

YES! Our flavored tinker dust is Kosher Certified by the VAAD of Northern California, Sunrise Kosher (www.sunrisekosher.org). Kosher Certification is the stamp of kosher approval by a rabbinic Agency verifying they have checked the products ingredients, production facility and actual production to ensure all ingredients, derivatives, tools and machinery have no trace of non kosher substances. This is one of those instances where looks can be deceiving. Each and every jar of our dust and/or glitter is filled by weight as opposed to volume. Whereas our product is manufactured using various amounts of edible pigments, the lighter colors such as white and clear are packed tighter than some of the deeper colors such as Gold and Silver so while it may appear to the human eye that certain jars contain less product, in reality, the weight is exactly the same in every jar. Simply put. some powders are more fluffy than others but rest assured, you're still getting the same amount of product.
